Dowlais Farm is a relaxed eco-concious location in the Somerset countryside that hosts weddings. This venue is perfect for couples who are looking for a fun, informal day surrounded by nature in a quiet and picturesque location.

Outdoor Wedding Ceremony

This wedding ceremony was a joy to photograph! The couple exchanged vows in a hand-tying ceremony in the summer sunshine as friends and family watched on. There was plenty of space in this area for me to get photos of both the happy couple and their wedding guests.

Confetti!

Guests threw dried flower petals - these always look great in photos! As they are natural and biodegradable, they are typically fine to use at most venues. It is always worth checking with your chosen wedding venue though.

For much of the day, I photograph couples and their guests in an unobtrusive, unposed way. Capturing authentic moments as they happen means I get to create photos of natural smiles and genuine personalities that my couples love. After the ceremony, the couple enjoyed a few moments together before joining guests, and I was able to photograph this special time they had together.

Couple Portraits

The couple had brought their vintage car to their wedding, so we made sure to include this in a selection of portraits. The car had been lovingly restored by the groom, and it totally fitted the aesthetic of the wedding day.
